This is just SO WRONG!

Bursting the biggest myth that is preached by motivation gurus

Take Action - Guru!

“You MUST take action!”

“That’s how you succeed!!!”

…a random guru said on a sales video I was watching the other night…

now he isn’t wrong, you gotta take action…

But he was trying to sell me something and by taking action all he meant was to buy his $7 report.

See, I used to spend every single day for past several years anxiously saying to myself

“I must take action”

I used to make to-do lists of stuff I needed to do

And the fear of the unknown, came crawling down my spine.

So some reason, even after being motivated I used to procrastinate.

And the more I procrastinate, the more anxious I became…

Now this doesn’t mean I wasn’t busy, I was just busy trying to force myself into taking action…

I used to talk to myself in a “negative tone”

“I have to do this…”

“I must finish…”

“This is big and important task…”

“I gotta do it like him…”

“I don’t have time for this…”

This approach was plain wrong and these negative self-talks will keep you in the loop of “I must take action” forever.

Which is why I’m declaring a war on people preaching – “just take action”

Ya see, when you do this, you try to ignore the deeper problems that might be preventing us into doing our most quality and productive work without being anxious.

Would you like to live a life full of work anxiety?

Or would you like to love what you do, enjoy it like an amazing meal at the French Laundry restaurant in Napa Valley (which is my favorite BTW)

So I’m going to give you one of the most important advice that’ll change your life…

First, read the book Now Habit by Dr. Neil Fiore.

Second, don’t be hard on yourself, we’re all humans after all.

Nobody is born with special talents, you just learn your way around the block as you explore.

Negative self-talk is dangerous. So I want you to…

Replace these words:

“I have to do this…”

“I must finish…”

“This is big and important task…”

“I must be perfect…”

“I don’t have time for this…”

with these:

“I choose to…”

“When can I start…”

“I can take one small step…”

“I can be perfectly human…”

“I must take the time to play…”

It might be awkward, but you’ll get used to it.

Let’s face it, we’ve all been there.

You don’t force yourself to success, it’ll just make your life miserable

You don’t hustle yourself to success

You USE reason or logic, and figure why you’re not taking action (or getting the results you want) and what can you do to fix it strategically.

What can you do to be in a confident mental state

True confidence is knowing when you’re anxious/worried and when you’re certain.

If you’re worried, you have to figure out why and do “the work of worrying” to gain confidence

So, when can you start?
